$300k - $400k Price Range

One thing to always remember about Huntsville Real Estate or any Real Estate Market for that mater, is that location and price range can make all the difference in market conditions. Within the major MLS search locations in the Huntsville metro area there are several mini-markets where conditions and pricing are different and dynamic.homeprices.jpg

In this post we take a brief look at the $300k - $400k market segment across the different Huntsville Real Estate metro areas. The compiled statistics will show each area’s current supply, demand, absorption rate, average price/sqrFt, and the associated market type (Buyer or Seller) all illustrated in the following table:

    When looking at the statistics above it is important to keep in mind that they are filtered to an explicit price range and thus become more valuable to buyers or sellers within this price range segment and less relevant if your target price range is different.

      One of the more interesting observations regarding these particular statistics, is that sales in the Madison City Limits and Southwest Huntsville areas bounced back to more seasonal levels last month and outpaced new inventory coming on the market. In Madison City Limits for example current inventory levels in this price range are below normal seasonal levels. While in the other areas of the City, either sales are below or inventory is above normal seasonal levels.
